The Reflectix duct insulation spacers are for use in conjunction with the Reflectix duct insulation. The spacers are easy to work with and provide an enclosed air space between the duct and the insulation. The enclosed air space (and number of enclosed air spaces) determine the R-value for that particular system. The Reflectix duct insulation spacers are available through HV products suppliers.

- The first type of spacer is a roll of reflective insulation that consists of two-reflective layers of film bonded to two-internal layers of heavy gauge polyethylene bubbles (total thickness 5/16 in), the product is 2 in wide and is offered in rolls of 25 linear ft
- The second type of spacer available is the hard plastic corner spacer, it consists of two-plastic tabs (at right angles) and is designed to be attached to the duct corners (by means of a double-sided tape (with a pull-away liner))
