        Oatey® purple primer is formulated for PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. Removes surface dirt, grease and grime as well as softens the pipe surface to allow a fast, secure solvent weld. Oatey® products have earned the trust of plumbing professionals for over 100 years.

        Oatey® Primer, 8 oz Net Content, Composition: Acetone, Cyclohexanone, Furan, Tetrahydro-, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Liquid Form, Purple, Solvent Odor/Scent, 0.84 +/- 0.02 Specific Gravity, 151 deg F Boiling Point, 14 to 23 deg F Flash Point, <550 g/L VOC, 2.5 Vapor Density, 145 mmHg Pressure, Flammability Limit: 1.8 to 11.8, Applicable Materials: CPVC, PVC, 5.5 to 8 % Evaporation, 200 deg F
